Peter Mosimann бросит сборную

В 2005г Peter Mosimann (31 лет) отдыхал от элитного спорта, надеясь, что он в сезоне 2006/2007 сможет быть в высшой форме. Но летом мотивация всё ещё не вернулась...В связи с этим он только что сообщал, что бросит сборную. Mosimann был на 2 года член юниорской команды и 11 лет в элитной команде Швейцарии по лыжной ориентированию. Его самый высший успех был в 2001г. на Чемпионатах Европы в России, на которых он взял 5. место в спринте. "Pitsch" участвовал 6 разов на ЧМ, и из них 5 разов получил диплому в эстафете. Своего лучшего индивидуального резултата на ЧМ он успел в 2005г. в Финляндию (12. место на классической дистанции), на которых он также успечно знял 4. место с командой в эстафете. Он был множество раз Чемпион Швейцарии и выйграл 3 раза Ski-OL Cup.

All students of Switzerland started at University yesterday, 23th of October... It was the first standardized start of new university year between the different cantons. Guys! It's time to come out of the forest!

CO Fribourgeoise par équipes

Yesterday went on the Championships of Fribourg's canton in team-orienteering, in which ca. 100 orienteers took part. The teams could be composed of 2 or 3 people. The chosen forest for this competition was Lossy, where the international athletes had run the World Cup's Relay in 2002. It seems to be that every competitor had a lot of fun there, with a sunny and warm weather! The victorius teams in HAL was the CO Chenau (Attinger, Béguin, Hodel) and in DAL the CA Rosé (Suter, Suhner and...ljus), but it was a very small competition and to be the first team meaned often to be also the first..looking from the end!

Jugend Cup 2006

The Jugend Cup 2006 took place last week-end, the 14th and 15th of october, in Chur (East of Switzerland, for more details see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graubünden ). It collected all the youth regional orienteering teams (9), which are usually composed of the best H/D-14, H/D-16, H/D-18 and H/D-20 of each part of Switzerland. On Saturday the teams confronted themselves through a relay competition. The particularity of this run is that the teams dress up in a funny way during the competition, when waiting for a runner or after their leg... Our team anticipated a little bit Christmas, what made the children very happy! :-) During the evening they organized a disco and on Sunday we all took part to the last big individual competition of the year in Trin (where the middle distance of the WOC 2003 was). The Zurich O-Team lead the general classment, ahead of the Nord-West Team and Bern/Solothurn.
