The Jugend Cup 2006 took place last week-end, the 14th and 15th of october, in Chur (East of Switzerland, for more details see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graubünden ). It collected all the youth regional orienteering teams (9), which are usually composed of the best H/D-14, H/D-16, H/D-18 and H/D-20 of each part of Switzerland. On Saturday the teams confronted themselves through a relay competition. The particularity of this run is that the teams dress up in a funny way during the competition, when waiting for a runner or after their leg... Our team anticipated a little bit Christmas, what made the children very happy! :-) During the evening they organized a disco and on Sunday we all took part to the last big individual competition of the year in Trin (where the middle distance of the WOC 2003 was). The Zurich O-Team lead the general classment, ahead of the Nord-West Team and Bern/Solothurn.
